Marion B. Frederick Scholarship

The Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in support of our National Program, GO-TO-HIGH SCHOOL, GO-TO-COLLEGE, congratulate you on your scholastic achievements and are very pleased to invite your application for the Marion B. Frederick Scholarship.

This scholarship, sponsored and administered by the Alpha Alpha Lambda Scholarship and Educational Fund, is given to (1) graduating, African-American, male attending high school in Essex County, NJ. The total amount of the award is $4,000.00 payable over four years. Recipient will receive (4) equal payments of $1,000 each year upon providing proof of enrollment and transcript showing a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) EACH year, upon matriculating into an accredited baccalaureate program.

Who Are We

Alpha Alpha Lambda Scholarship and Educational Fund, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded by the Brothers of Alpha Alpha Lambda Chapter, Inc, of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Fund's main purpose is to raise money for scholarships given to worthy students seeking a post-secondary education. The fund also supports education and leadership activities designed to shape the minds and talents of young men in and around Essex County, NJ.
